Apple & Maple Protein Pancakes

I’ve decided I’m now 5 months postpartum and it’s time to tone up and lose the mummy belly. These protein pancakes for breakfast compliment any workout regime perfectly so I thought I’d share with you!

Ingredients

50g Raw Oats

2 x Royal Gala Apples

2 x Egg Whites

150ml Almond Milk

1 tsp baking powder

2 tbsp maple (to serve)

50ml Water & 2tsp of Caster Sugar

Method

Peel and slice apples. Mix the 50ml of water and 2tsp of caster sugar and pour over apples in baking tray. Cook for 10 minutes on 200 C.

Blend the raw oats to make a flour and add egg whites, almond milk baking powder.

Preheat frying pan with coconut/olive oil. Pour in the mixture and cook for around 1 minute on each side.

Serve & enjoy with cooked apples & maple syrup.

These pancakes are allergy friendly (dairy & gluten free).

I hope you all enjoy!
