Ladies, It’s time to start getting excited as the weekend’s almost here! Whether you are planning a romantic meal with your partner or having a wild night out with the girls, it’s always important to prepare what you want to wear. The secret to having a good night is confidence, if you look and feel your best then guaranteed you will have more fun and really be able to let your hair down . To avoid any last minute freak outs over the fact I have nothing to wear, I always spend my Thursday nights planning exactly what look I want to achieve for any upcoming events. Let’s face it, after hours of perfecting your makeup the last thing you want is to cry it all off! Anyway, here’s the outfit I’ve decided on and how you can recreate this look to suit you, I hope you all like it.
White dresses were all over the red carpet at this years GRAMMYs and BAFTAs, so I decided I’d like a little bit of the a-list action but also combine this with one of the hottest trends for spring/summer 2016. Sheer undershirts with long sleeves have made a comeback on the runway and are perfect for a modern lady who enjoys showing off whilst still feeling covered up. It’s all about mesh fabrics and this ASOS dress really is a knockout and comes in at only £29.
As I plan to paint the town red, I’ve opted for red accessories which complement the white perfectly. I really think choosing bright and vibrant colours bring a little bit of excitement to this outfit. My bag is an Osprey London shoulder bag in a signature polished croc leather which says you mean business, while its bright colour and minimalist silver hardware add a sharp, sexy edge. If you are wanting the designer look for less I’d suggest going for this Fiorelli tote bag from the House of Fraser .
For the finishing touch you really can’t beat a classic Office stiletto, they come in all different colours so take your pick!
If your weekend is a little more casual, you can still rock the sheer trend. I love this Topshop sheer lace black high necked top with pretty open back detail. Pair it with some black skinnies and Chelsea boots to complete the look.
Don’t let an outfit dilemma spoil your night, prepare for the party! What is everyone’s favourite evening looks?
