GRAMMYs 2016 Best Dressed

At the Grammy Awards, it seems the more unruly the styles on the red carpet the better! This year was no different with celebrities dressing dangerously sexy. The designer gowns brought out a lot of gorgeous sequins, sleek silk and understated jewellery. For me, the GRAMMYs 2016 red carpet was completely won by country star Carrie Underwood in this stunning black Nicolas Jebran dress, with a thigh high split. Finishing off her incredible look she wore the most divine diamond necklace brought by her husband for valentines day, how sweet!

If you are wanting to recreate this look I suggest heading over to Asos and trying the Rosie Fortescue Venice Tuxedo Maxi Dress, it’s currently on sale £36, team it with a pair of strappy barely there black sandals you will look red carpet ready.

It’s safe to say Taylor Swift has definitely been the most talked about in the press for her outfit choice. The “Style” singer pulled out all the stops in her colorful Atelier Versace ensemble, consisting of a coral tube top and a leg-baring fuchsia skirt. I think this is a very different red carpet look for her and I’ve got to say I adore the bright bold colours.

A perfect skirt if you are wanting to stand out like Taylor is the pink jersey pencil skirt from River Island for £30 and top of the crops bright orange high neck top from Missguided at £15. For a more modest look you could always style it up with that go to black cami you have in your wardrobe.

GRAMMYs 2016-Battle of the White

Rounding off my GRAMMYs best-dressed list is the battle of the white. Chrissy Teigen continued to embrace her baby bump in a stunning white Yousef Al-Jasmi gown, complete with a jewel-encrusted cape. Whilst Beyonce stepped out on stage looking angelic in a heavenly white bridal gown from Inbal Dror, Tinged with silver, embroidery, and sheer insets and finished with jewel drop earrings. Kaley Cuoco also looked amazing in an edgy Naeem Khan sequin jumpsuit. Which do you prefer?

It’s really tough to decide which one I prefer the most, I do adore the intricate embroidery on Beyonce’s gown and it’s definitely something I will be looking for when shopping for wedding dresses in the near future. However jumpsuits look fab for a night out when wanting to make a statement so Kaley I’m with you!

If you are like me and love these looks, then here’s a few options you can find on the high street. The Chrissy inspired white maxi cape overlay shift dress is available from Lavish Alice for £52,  whether it’s a night out on the town or a work event you are guaranteed to look a knock out in this. If you “Run the World” like Miss Knowles head over to Asos where this red carpet Ergonomic Embellished Mini Bodycon Dress can be yours for £150. However if you are like Kaley and want to go out with a ‘Big Bang’ this Exclusive Metallic Pleat Jumpsuit with Crop Top Layer is for you available also at Asos. Can you tell I worship Asos?

So who was your best dressed at the GRAMMYs 2016 & what looks do you think you will try out?
