With spring and summer fast approaching it is important we get our brains in gear and study up on the emerging trends fresh off the catwalk. Pure London is the UK’s leading fashion trade show which takes place twice a year in London Olympia. It showcases collections from over 1,000 fashion brands, from premium names such as Katty Xiomara & Vilagallo to high street favourites Glamorous and Lavish Alice. Here’s what I saw…
If you are like me and would love to spend thousands of pounds on designer labels but unfortunately don’t have the cash in the bank to do so, head over to the ‘Spirit’ section of the show. The Brands in this section are all about up-to-the-minute young fashion and individual street style but work to an affordable price tag. Which means we can give our wardrobe the revamp it desperately desires for when the warmer weather hits.
With this in mind, I wanted to share with you my favourite looks from the catwalk.
I absolutely loved the Lavish Alice range, it screams fierce, unique and super-fearless style that makes a statement. The clean classic cut jumpsuits exude sophistication and combined with the cape create a modern feel perfect for cocktail bars and date nights with your friends or partners.
As well as showcasing classic styles it looks like pleats are back! With thinner tighter knife pleats featuring across dresses & co-ordinates, it seems like Tome, Altuzarra and Boss aren’t the only one’s leading this look! Head over to Lavish Alice to check our more of their collection.
When the show got into full swing, it was all about Orange, yes it’s a pretty in your face colour but that didn’t stop Unique 21 highlighting it in their range. Orange, in a variety of shades will definitely be your go-to hue for next season.
The classic white shirt also appeared but it looks like it’s had a designer makeover, taking it from a simple staple piece to a souped up edgy look.
Over the upcoming weeks I will be styling up these key Spring 2016 trends along with many more to create lifestyle shots and outfit inspiration, so please give me a follow and send in pictures of your trendy looks.
It really is a fabulous day out if you are a fashion fanatic like myself and would recommend you all booking your place for the next event on the 24th- 26th July 2016, it’s free so why not!
Thanks for stopping by.
